Really about us...

We bumped into eachother on a mineral fair, somewhere on the world, ages ago, started to talk, and were terrified to learn that we both liked the same things. There were two choices at that moment: either we would duel to death to find out which was the better half of us (and take out a competitor),

or... team up and beat the competition together. We both, loving life and all it offers, made the easiest choice that did not require any physical activity or planning: ...team up.

And since then the sun has been shining and smiling upon us...

Why are we such a good team. Because we're completely different. Of course... We both speak a handful of languages fluently, but all different ones. We both have a passion for travelling, but we both visit(ed) different countries. One of us hates planning, the other one cannot move without some form of it. Although we both call it "the forbidden P-word" (planning triggers Murphy's law, that's why..., and planning is a killer for nice surprises and creativity). We're also a good team because one of us hates to get his hands dirty, and the other one loves to crawl around deep in active or old mines just to get his hands dirty and find the best mineral specimens... But we also combine outstanding scientific knowledge with decades of hands-on experience in mineral collecting. And we both love to laugh, and like to relax with a view to kill for, while eating and drinking the best we can find. Or visiting the local Japanese onzen or Moroccan souk or hammam.
