We hate mislabeled specimens. Just like you...

So, both locality information and mineral information are added to your labels with the most care. 

As you can see from the specimens we offer, we like to find the specimens that we sell ourselves. Until now, 100% of the offered specimens were found by us during our travels. 

So, we know -exactly- where they came from ;) It took us sometimes years of research to locate an old locality and travel to it. Sometimes we didn't find anything during that first travel. Or not even during the second trip. But in the end we did. Usually at some cost... That's why you find it in our webshop ;)

And when we find something, we of course also want to know what we found. So we analyse our specimens. Usually not each and every one of them. But when we find an alpine fissure, or a cavity, or a fumarole, we analyse the typical specimens. Or the atypical ones. That depends. But we for sure analyse the relevant ones. So, if we offer something for sale here, you can be sure that we analysed it, or that we are damn sure that it is what it is....

If there is any doubt about a label, please tell us. And if a new analyses turns out we made a mistake, then you will simply either return the specimen and get your money back ; or we will send you a new label. Whatever makes you most happy. 

We have access to SEM-EDX and PXRD equipment, so if you want something analysed, we can arrange it.
