A nice specimen with a rich zone of translucent Cobaltaustinite crystals on Quartz. Almost the complete specimen is scattered with microcrystals of rosa-pink Cobaltkoritnigite with minor Roselite. For more info, see an article we wrote about this locality here... and see Mindat.

Well, let the photo's speak for itself... There are dozens of nice pink roselite crystals on this piece, all having beta-roselite growing epitaxial on them. Inbetween are hundreds of small talmessite crystals. A lust for the eye under the microscope.

This is a really fine specimen of cobaltaustinite. The matrix is covered in green needles of cobaltaustinite, on which talmessite crystals grow. You can see clearly that the talmessite crystals are zoned. Lapis jan.2002 writes about this zoning. The center of the crystals is cobalt-poor, where the borders are cobalt-rich talmessite and beta-roselite. There are four pink micro spherocobaltite also on the specimen and some aggregates of white-pink colbaltoan picropharmacolite. I will send the buyer a copy of that article.

Cobaltlotharmeyerite is a rare mineral which is only found at this moment in two localities: Schneeberg/Austria and Bou-Azzer /Morocco. This specimen has multiple small cavities with both Cobaltlotharmeyerite and Cobaltaustinite. The Cobaltaustinite forms green globular spheres, and the Cobaltlotharmeyerite brown microcrystals on Dolomite and Roselite. Let the photo's speak... Talmessite forms deep purple crystals on this piece. The color is stunning. Almost all the crystals are twinned. Although there's a solid solution series between Talmessite and Beta-roselite, this must be very much on the Talmessite end of the series. We collected this specimen in december 2009. For more info, see an article we wrote about this locality here, and see Mindat.

Spherocobaltite is not often for sale, and if they are they're from Congo are very expensive... This specimen carries ca.20 micro crystals (0,3-0,4 mm). That sounds extremely small, but 90% of the real Spherocobaltite does not get bigger than this! Most of the crystals are transparent and are on a black (Heterogenite) matrix, what gives the crystals a nice contrast. We found this in Oumlil in april 2008. For more info, see an article we wrote about this locality here, and see Mindat.

This small specimen has a 2cm cavity with mm-sized β-Roselite leaf-shaped crystals (there is no Roselite on this specimen, β-Roselite is a more rare and different species at Aghbar). On top of the β-Roselite grow little Aragonite crystals. The black material here and there is probably Heterogenite. We found this specimen in december 2009.
