Arizona and Mexico, so we spent almost the whole month in Arizona... |

Spring

beautiful
for Bologna and Tuscany/Italy, also for Iran by the way, and spring is great for nice tours in California and Baja California/Mexico when the cacti have flowers. But we were in Bolivia and we had a relaxing and succesful trip in Portugal. More on that later... |

has
comfortable
temperatures
for Morocco... and... for joining us for collecting in Japan, combined with the Osaka mineral fair... So we were in Japan, as always, and visited Sicily for collecting on the Fossa crater and the Etna! |

localities where the sun is not too hot (yet...) but may is also great for tours in the German Eifel Mts., Spain or France. But we were in Japan (collecting plus the Tokyo mineral fair) and collected (underground) in the German Eifel. |

We were specimen mining Pyromorphite underground in an old lead-mine in the Eifel most of the month, and we visited a number of (un)known quarries for Eifel minerals in Germany and Molybdanite etc in Belgium. |
